Required abilities,qualities, and experience
We expect enthusiastic applicants who are willing to verify own ideas through experiments that are planned and implemented by oneself, applicants who will be able to participate in group study in a cooperative manner and to play a role responsibly, and applicants with high research ethics.
Applicants are required the following experience;
(a)Plan own experint, acquiring, analyzing, and evaluating data by yourself,
(b)Use of electromagnetic simulator, structural simulator, or thermal simulator,
(c)Programming,
(d)Desin and manufacture of electronic circuits.

Research environment after arriving at one’s post.
The applicant will be trained through collaborative works with researchers of the research group of the solar power satellite (SPS) and will study about a demonstration experiment of wireless power transmission (WPT) using satellites under the supervisor. Based on these activities, we expect that the applicant should conduct a development of WPT systems for lunar and planetary exploration. Also, the applicant is expected to participate and contribute the seminar and workshops in the SPS comunity.
The following intruments can be used. Digital oscilloscope and real-time signal analyzer up to 6 GHz, RF measurement systems up to X band, simulators (CST, NASTRAN, Thermal desktop), test equipment of power system, vacuum chamber with temperature control plate.
