Required abilities, qualities, and experience
(1) Experience in developing science instruments for satellites or sounding rockets is desirable.
(2) The applicant should have an interest in the future development of science instruments to be installed on satellites and rovers for lunar and planetary exploration, and a desire to lead the development of such instruments in the future.
(3) The applicant should have an interest not only in the development of instruments, but also in the objects and phenomena to be measured by the instruments, and have the ability to actively study and investigate them.

Research environment after arriving at one’s post.
(i) For instrument development, the facilities of the Particle Measuring Instrument Development Room on the third floor of the ISAS Advanced Space Science Laboratory building can be used.
(ii) Researchers from ISAS/JAXA and universities with extensive experience in developing instruments for satellites and sounding rockets are available to support the mentor.
(iii) Researchers from ISAS/JAXA and universities, who are members of the LUPEX REIWA team, are available to support the mentor.
