Required abilities, qualities, and experience
At least, one of the following experiences is required.
(1) Instrumentation for space and/or ground-based observation facilities.
(2) Research in astrophysics with the data of space science missions.
(3) Experience of developing data analysis and/or operation software for space missions.

Research environment after arriving at one’s post.
Successful candidates will conduct research under the supervision of a professor in this department. Therefore, the applicants are required to contact the potential supervisor(s) prior to the application to discuss their research plan in detail. The department has basic experimental facilities. For those works for a particular projects (Working Groups or Teams in ISAS), the facilities for those projects will be provided.
